Two days ago I received a phone call from the store. John (my guess is a manager) introduced himself and said he was overlooking the prorated refund on my N80. He politely asked if I could give him as close of a date of my N80 purchase as he had to go to their archives (basement) and dig out a copy of the receipt. This was a very easy task - I told him 10.05 am on the grand opening day. He was glad I could help pinpointing it so close. Now I’ll just have to wait for the check to come in. To be honest i bitched in my previous posts about this whole case but I do have to say that my jaw is on the floor considering the resolution. I don’t think many companies would offer prorated refund on something like this. So kudos to Nokia. The score that was lost (or more like 5 points) is now recouped (as soon as I get the check).
